It is Weekend News from West Egg

 

More and more brides are deciding to customize their wedding. In a column in the most recent Fall issue of Elegant Bride Magazine, Los Angeles writer Rebecca DiLiberto writes that this customization goes beyond her dream dress. Examples in her article include custom shoes, nail polish, perfume, and for the groom custom a tuxedo. Wedding planner Jung Lee explains (interviewed for the article) that "Brides feel getting married is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and they all want to go all out." (pages 110-111)

Not only is the couple opting for customized items for their attire they are also offering custom suits and shirts for their groomsmen. New York City designer for Jenna Bush's wedding, Lela Rose, customized each bridesmaids dress including Jenna's sister Laura's.

• For the Groom Thursday's - Posts for the future groom-to-be highlighting romantic restaurants, venues and vacations were a gentleman could "Pop-the-Question" to his woman of significance. We will also highlight services devoted to creating a distinctive and memorable experience for the future bride-to-be.
• High Fashion Friday - News from the runways, catwalks, trends and colors of the seasons as they change.
• Weekends - Posts devoted to news from West Egg.
